My 1st Nneka Saran dress!!

So you guys remember me telling you how I wanted to make a dress. Well I decided to make one for myself for Hampton Homecoming. I found some really great stretch material and used that to make it. Check out how it turned out!

I would soooo love to do a Nneka Saran dress line one day.....just not sure when but its definitely in my plans! :)

2 Years Already!?

Happy 2nd Anniversary to the best man God could have blessed me with for a husband! I can not believe its been two years already! Time really flies when you are having fun! I thank God everyday for my best friend, my backbone, my #1 fan, my everything.  Here's to decades more of wedded bliss babe! :)

Anniversary Giveaway TODAY ONLY!!

As I told you guys last week, I am doing a giveaway in honor of my 1 year anniversary of stepping out on faith to pursue my passion full time!! This giveaway is also in appreciation to all of you for all the support I have received over the years and especially this past year.  I have gotten soooo many emails from people offering such encouraging and kind words that have really helped to keep me going.  I am often amazed at how God works.  At the beginning of last year, no one could have paid me to think I would be doing what I love full time right now. But as they say, when one door shuts, another one opens.  I do still feel soooo far away from where I want to be at times, but I have learned to be grateful for even the small accomplishments instead of focusing on the fact that I have yet to reach my ultimate goal.  I am truly thankful that the Lord blessed me with such an amazing opportunity to give this a shot.  One thing I won't be able to ever say is that I didn't try!  I am looking forward to all God has in store for me in the future no matter what direction it goes in!
