Vacay in Aruba

Im back from my vacay in Aruba with my hubby and I must say we had a great time!! I didn't want to leave.  Check out a few pics from our trip! I got a serious tan too!

We stayed at the Marriot Stellaris & Casino and had a great time! I would definitely recommend putting Aruba on your list of places to visit one day if you haven't already been!

I'm so excited and sooo proud of my husband and the release of his very first book today!  In 2008, God placed it on his heart to pen his personal testimony.  Four years later, Rededication: A Story of Sex, Repentance, and Restoration was birthed.  

"Rededication" takes us on that all too familiar journey that many of us have traveled. Beginning with the "first time", Armond Mosley shares with the reader some his most intimate moments while providing insight into the vexing reality that faith and sexuality create for a man. As he wrestles with stereotypes, stigmas and misplaced expectations, Armond eventually comes to a point of decision as a result of God's divine intervention. With somewhat of an ultimatum in hand, he chooses to yield to the Lord and commit to a life of celibacy until marriage. While it would appear that things would get easier from there, in actuality his journey had really just begun. For the remainder of the book, Armond invites us into his personal journey as a celibate man in his 20's, the sexual prime of his life. Though many discouraging moments along the way, Armond continues to faithfully press through until one day, he's just about had enough. And in that moment, in a most hopeless and vulnerable state, God shines a light on him and reveals to him "a woman of noble character, whose worth is far greater than rubies".

Thrift Store Find - $15

So check out this thrift store find I came across today...its a round ottoman I got for $15....judging from the tag on the bottom, it was originally purchased at Marshalls and it appears only lightly used.  I think I may be using it in a room I'm working on for one of my clients.  Stay tuned to see how it turns out once I recover it! :)

Will Smith is one of the hardest working and most successful people of our time!  I admire him so much.  Just to remember where he came from and  how far he has come is super inspiring!!  His work ethic is ridiculous! I thought I'd share this video I watch rather often to keep me motivated.

Meet My New Intern - Sarah

Today I had my first meeting with my summer intern, Sarah.  She is a college senior who will be graduating in December.   She is so sweet and enthusiastic! I'm so happy to have her on board! Welcome again Sarah!

Thrift Store Chair Redo

You guys remember my last thrift store chair? Well if you didn't notice in my office pics, I gave it a makeover.  The only thing is that Im not a fan of the fabric I covered it with. I've been looking for something I really like but for now, this striped fabric will have to do.

So here is the chair before:

The fabric I used for now doesn't "do it" for me but it'll work for now until I find something better!
