So Essence.com has a great new feature! They are looking for newlyweds to submit pics from thier wedding and reception. Every Wednesday, they feature the story and pics of a couple. I totally look forward to checking this out every Wednesday. Although, sites like TheKnot.com and Brides.com have sections where they feature real couples and their weddings, its very rare you run across alot of African Americans. So Im glad Essence is shining that light on us!!I ran across Kia & Jason's wedding and I absolutely loved thier pictures. They were college sweethearts who got married 8-8-08 in Atlanta, Ga. Kia actually shared that she did alot of stuff herself so she is officially in the "DIY Club". She was a beautiful bride and they make a lovely couple.
